Community
We hold “place” in the highest regard. Place is formed from physical conditions and people and their culture. We value the role of design to engage people in the many places where they live at home and throughout their days. Aspiring to develop work that brings people together in atmospheres that provide for interaction, conversation and the enrichment of life. JPFA seeks public, private, and non-profit projects that assist in the building of communities where people want to live. We seek to generate projects that bring people out of their homes and phones, and back into public life.
Love Our Community
LOC Warehouse:
LOC Warehouse is a retail space dedicated to supporting the mission of Love Our Community through the resale of donated goods. The proceeds of the store go to support housing and support for people in the township who have fallen upon difficult times.
Masterplanning:
LOC required a masterplan for an existing trailer park. The existing housing was in failing condition and the site was in disrepair and the place was not designed and was not a functional community…
Office:
Conversion of the existing barn to service center is a central component of the master planning for LOC. The Barn provides support services and meeting and common laundry space for the residents.
